Returns / Cancellations & Warranty Information
New items returned for refund or exchange
Here's what to do if you have ordered something that's wrong, doesn't fit or you just don't like the colour, taste or whatever (Does NOT apply to custom made window kits, windows or bespoke items).
- Please contact us before you make a return (This is very important!).
- Don't start a PayPal dispute before you have spoken to us, there is no need.
- Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
- Goods to be returned must be returned in the condition you recieved them, wrapped up complete with all packaging in good condition.
- Goods must not have been fitted or used.
Standard items such as ready made NACA ducts, Air scoops etc may be subject to a minimum restocking charge of 30% of the cost plus any shipping costs that we have paid to deliver or collect the items from / to you.
Custom made products including Windscreens, Window kits and individual Windows. When we custom make windows for you, they are manufactured specifically for you, and to your exact specification. This means that we are not obliged to accept back custom made items for a refund or exchange unless they are faulty. Custom manufactured windows or products may be accepted back based on the decision of a director of the company but may incur up to a 80% restocking fee plus any shipping costs that we have paid to deliver or collect the items from / to you.
Plastics 4 Performance are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly damaged, faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts. All parts should be checked before use. (dry fitted carefully to check fitment etc)
If you want to cancel your order. (Because you have changed your mind, no longer require it, We can not supply it in your requested time frame.)
You can cancel your order at any time, but if your order has gone into production this will incur a re-stocking fee of between 50% and 80% of the order value depending on its status in manufacture and how much time and materials we have spent / used on your job. If your order has not yet gone into manufacturing, then we have no problems giving you a 100% refund (minus any bank or paypal fees). Basically, if we have started production and used materials and time then we will apply the re-stocking fee of between 50% and 80% - you can request photographs of the parts made. We are only trying to be fair to both parties. Please ask for more information if required.
Refund amount
If we have cut all your parts from polycarbonate we will only offer a 50% refund
If we have cut and printed your parts we will only offer a 40% refund
If we have cut, printed and thermoformed your parts then we will only offer a 20% refund
BANK TRANSFER refunds:
We will apply a £21.00 Admin charge to make refunds via bank transfer. This is to cover the £21.00 charge applied by our bank to facilitate this.
PAYPAL refunds:
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the 5% PayPal transaction fee as we can not reverse this charge with PayPal.
Refunds & Exchange rates:
Any refunds made via PayPal, Credit Cards, Bank Transfers in any other currency than GBP will be succeptable to fluctuations in exchanges rates so you may recieve a different amount than you originally paid, Unfortunatly this is determined by the financial institutions involved and there is nothing we can do to alter this, Any purchase price shown on the website is based on GBP and maybe shown in a different currency with the DAYS exchange rate applied.
Faulty, Damaged or Broken Goods (Limited Warranty)
All goods purchased from us are coved by a limited warranty. On Plastics 4 Performance manufactured windows and components we offer a limited 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. Generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, general wear and tear, wrong fixing methods, chemical spillage, applying Decals, films, tearoffs to coated or uncoated products and any subsequent damage caused by removal of windows, removal of films or damage caused by adhesive residues etc. If you feel that the product you have purchased from us has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs. If the goods need to be returned:-
- Make sure you have contacted us before you return any goods.
- Goods to be returned must be returned complete with all packaging in good condition.
- Make sure the product being returned can not cause any harm to whoever unpacks it.
- Please do not return goods that have been involved in any accident, damaged by chemical attack, damaged by vandalism, damaged by incorrect fitment, damaged because you don't want them or have not got a returns number or form attached.
- We will usually arrange for collection of faulty, damaged or broken goods.
- Please inspect the goods on arrival. If the packaging is damaged this must be reported to the carrier immediatly and to Plastics 4 performance within 24 hours (otherwise the carriers will not take responsibility for the damage).
- If the goods are damaged inside the parcel, please inform Plastics 4 Performance within 24 hrs as it may be a carrier issue that has caused the damage.
Please be honest when dealing with us, after 30+ years in the plastics industry we know when problems are genuine or self inflicted. We will try our best to resolve any problem you have as we like to have happy customers.
New items returned because we have posted you the wrong part.
Believe it or not we do make mistakes on the odd occasion! If we have sent you a part which is different to what is listed on your invoice, we will be happy to make an exchange and either collect or pay your shipping costs for returning the item.

- Where applicable we will arrange full collection of the goods from you. The goods must be wrapped suitably for return to us. Any goods damaged because they were not wrapped correctly will not be accepted back.
- Please call or email first before returning goods.
In Short
- If the goods we supply are wrong we will change them or refund your payment.
- If the goods we supply have a defect we will change them or refund your payment.
- If you don't like the goods and wish to return them we will refund your payment but we will charge you a fee for restocking these items.
- For custom made items, unless we supply a wrong or defect part we are under no obligation to accept, exchange or refund payment as these items will have been made specifically for you to your specification or choice, but please call us first.
- Where applicable we will arrange full collection of the goods from you. The goods must be wrapped suitably for return to us. Any goods damaged because they were not wrapped correctly will not be accepted back.
- We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc., you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier.
- IMPORTANT - On order cancellations we can not refund any PayPal transaction fees. For Bank transfer refunds we will apply a £21.00 admin charge.
